David Sedgwick

David is a founding principal of Alliance Pacific Group, an independent investment banking advisory firm based in Toronto. Since its founding in 1995, Mr. Sedgwick has led advisory mandates to private companies, prominent multi-national public corporations and large pension funds in Canada, the United States and Europe regarding acquisitions, divestitures, restructurings, financings and other strategic transactions.

Prior to forming Alliance Pacific Group, Mr. Sedgwick worked for 10 years at Magna International Inc. where his responsibilities included managing a variety of technology divisions involved in alternate fuel and advanced battery development, including joint ventures with ABB (Germany) and NGK (Japan).

Over the past five years Mr. Sedgwick has also initiated and co-managed a series of investment LPs for accredited investors and asset management firms with realized IRRs to investors in excess of 25%. He is also an active investor in a number of emerging growth ventures in Ontario.

Mr. Sedgwick holds an Honors Degree, Business Administration (HBA) from the University of Western Ontario – Ivey School of Business.
