Getting to know Travis:
What are your interests outside of work?
I enjoy playing/watching sports, traveling, and continuously learning.
What music do you listen to?
I listen to a little bit of everything.
What is your perfect adventure?
I love ancient history so a trip through any of the world’s great ancient civilizations with stops at as many historical monuments and sites as possible would be my perfect adventure.
What is your favorite quote?
“Faber est quisque suæ fortunae” or, in English, “every man is the architect of his own fortune” - Appius Claudius Caecus, 279 B.C.
What is one technology that you couldn’t live without?
I try not to be overly reliant on any one gadget or service and I believe we could all probably “unplug” more often than we do, but I’ll admit that YouTube is pretty brilliant.
What is your favorite place you have ever visited?
Durham (location of the university where I completed my MBA) in the northeast of England holds a special place in my heart. It is one of the most beautiful and historic cities in Europe, the people are wonderfully friendly, and the surrounding countryside is breath-taking. Second on my list would be the Isola di Capri in Italy.
